*The 26 kilometer stretch was actually very scenic, something straight out of the cattle ranches of Batangas or Isabela. But that was because we were travelling in the relative comfort of a pick-up truck. One could leisurely watch the scene pass by….NS
*Yes, it did feel like we were in a western landscape, and the horses! It was surreal to have village-folk on horses, but it's because it's the most logical means of transport. I don't think motorized vehicles could last there- the roads and the terrain are perfect for those small, upland horses. It would be interesting to have asked how they breed them, and if they are for sale…..George M

*I was even thinking if it could be part of some kind of tour-package. Think Baguio. Think of putting tourists on a sort of scenic horse trail. It could be another source of income for the locals….Bhec S.
